If you are looking for builders in Gorey to renovate or improve your home, Abd and Sons Construction covers Gorey town and the surrounding north Wexford area. We are a family-run construction company based in Clonroche, Co. Wexford, offering a full range of domestic building services and specialising in complete bathroom and kitchen renovations, attic conversions, tiling, flooring, plastering, carpentry and property maintenance.
Gorey has grown fast, and a lot of homes in the town and around Courtown were built in the same few years. That means many of them are now reaching the age where the original bathroom, kitchen and flooring need replacing — exactly the kind of work we do every week.
Home renovations in Gorey, done by one crew
We handle the full renovation ourselves rather than passing it between subcontractors. One team strips out, re-runs pipework where needed, re-boards and plasters, tiles, lays flooring and fits the finishing carpentry. You get one contact, one schedule and one high-quality standard of finish across the whole project, with real attention to detail in every room of the house.
Popular building projects for Gorey homeowners and clients include swapping a bath for a walk-in shower, replacing a dated estate kitchen, putting new flooring through the whole ground floor, and turning attic storage into a usable room.
- Bathroom renovations and walk-in shower conversions
- Kitchen renovations, including fitting kitchens you have bought yourself
- Attic conversions for a bedroom, office or playroom
- Laminate, LVT, engineered wood and tiled flooring
- Plastering, skimming and repairs after other work
- Carpentry: doors, skirting, stud walls and fitted storage
What to look for when you hire a builder in Gorey
Before you choose any building contractor, ask for a written, itemised quote, a clear start date and an honest timeline, and find out who will actually be doing the work. Ask how they will protect the rest of the house and what happens to the mess at the end of each day.
With us, the answers are simple: a free written quote with no surprise extras, a direct line to the people on site, and a site left clean and safe every evening. We are also contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you are never left chasing a reply.
Getting a quote for your Gorey project
The fastest way to get a price is to send a few photos and a short description on WhatsApp. For larger jobs we will arrange a visit to measure up before giving you a fixed written quote. Most bathroom renovations take one to two weeks from strip-out to finish, and we will agree a realistic schedule with you before any construction work begins — then deliver to it.
